FAQ
What does "fixed-point" mounting mean?+
Your vehicle has dedicated factory mounting points — threaded sockets hidden under covers along the roof edge. AeroGlide V3 bolts directly into these sockets for a secure, low-profile fit.
Do I need to insert the rubber strips?+
The long rubber strips (K) may ship already inserted in the bar groove. If so, skip that step; if not, press them into the groove during pre-assembly.
What's the maximum weight capacity?+
Up to 220 lbs (100 kg) while driving (our dynamic load rating), evenly distributed. Always check your vehicle's roof load limit and never exceed the lower of the two.
Are the bars lockable?+
Yes. Each mount has a lock cover (A) that locks with one of the two metal keys (I). Always lock after installation.
