Characterized by a gap between the rail and the roof, allowing attachments to slide underneath the roof rail for secure installation.
FLUSH ROOF RAILS
Similar to raised roof rails, not to be confused with fixed points roof rails. However, they sit directly against the roof with no gap, meaning you cannot slide your hand underneath. Installation is achieved by clamping onto the groove channel along the side.
FIXED POINTS BARE ROOF
These types of roofs have attachment points for roof racks and these points are usually hidden by plastic covers or hidden under the plastic trims.
NAKED / BARE ROOF
Vehicles with bare roofs has no attachment for roof racks on them. With these kind of roofs, you can either install compatible roof rails first or use crossbars that can be mounted on the doors.
