Load Stops are adjustable cargo blocks that slide into the T-track channel of your crossbars to keep cargo from sliding side-to-side during transport. Compatible with all Erkul crossbars.
Will load stops fit my crossbars?
Yes — load stops are compatible with all Erkul crossbar models. They slide into the T-track channel on top of the bar and lock down at any position you choose.
What are load stops used for?
Load stops are adjustable cargo blocks that prevent items from sliding side-to-side on your crossbars during transport. They're useful for irregularly-shaped cargo like lumber, ladders, kayaks, surfboards, or any long load that doesn't have a dedicated carrier.
How do I install load stops?
- Slide the T-bolt into the channel on top of your crossbar.
- Position the load stop where you need it.
- Tighten the bolt to lock the stop in place.
Are load stops currently in stock?
Stock varies — check the product page on our store for current availability. If they're sold out, you can join the back-in-stock notification list on the product page.
How many load stops do I need?
Most setups use 2 or 4 load stops depending on cargo. For most loads, two stops (one on each side of the cargo) on each crossbar is enough — that's 4 total for a typical setup.
I received a defective or missing part
Send us photos of the shipping box and the affected part — we'll ship a free replacement, no return needed.
How do I return load stops?
30-day return window from the delivery date, in original packaging and unused or gently used. Contact our support team for a prepaid return label.
