LOAD STOPS
Adjustable Cargo Stops That Slide Into the T-Track of Your Crossbars. You're standing next to your car with the box open. Here's everything you need.
Before You Start
What load stops do, what fits and what the roof can carry. Check these before you open the hardware bag.
Load stops are adjustable blocks that slide into the T-track channel of your crossbars and lock at any position, so long or odd-shaped cargo (lumber, ladders, kayaks, surfboards) can't slide side to side. The straps hold the load down; the stops hold it in place.
Load stops fit all Erkul crossbars. On another brand of crossbar you need a T-track channel on top of the bar.
For most loads, one stop on each side of the cargo on each crossbar is enough: 4 in total, which is what the box holds.
Everything on the roof counts: crossbars, stops and cargo together. Always stay under the lowest of your crossbars (165 lb while driving on Skybar and Falcon, 220 lb on Wizard, AeroGlide and Strong), your roof rails if fitted, and your vehicle's roof load limit.
4 load stops, 4 knobs, 4 plates, 4 bolts and 2 straps.
No tools needed. Every stop tightens by hand with its knob, so there is no tool in the box.

Installation Guide
The essentials, right here on your phone.
Always use the straps to hold the load down, and check the crossbars are tight before you load. The stops keep cargo from sliding sideways; the straps keep it on the roof.
Bow & stern tie-downs to the vehicle frame are required. Straps to the crossbars alone aren't enough.
Shake every stop and the load before each drive. Any movement means stop, re-seat, and re-tighten.
The install in 4 steps (tap to open)+
1. Slide the bolt into the T-track channel on top of your crossbar.
2. Position the load stop where you need it: one on each side of the cargo.
3. Tighten the knob firmly by hand to lock the stop in place. No tools needed.
4. Repeat for each stop, load the cargo against the stops and strap it down.

FAQ
Will load stops fit my crossbars?+
Yes. Load stops fit all Erkul crossbar models. They slide into the T-track channel on top of the bar and lock down at any position you choose.
What are load stops used for?+
They stop items from sliding side to side on your crossbars during transport: useful for lumber, ladders, kayaks, surfboards, or any long load that doesn't have a dedicated carrier.
How many load stops do I need?+
One stop on each side of the cargo on each crossbar is enough for most loads: 4 in total, which is what the box holds.
Do I need any tools?+
No. Load stops install by hand: slide the bolt into the T-track, set the stop where you need it and tighten the knob. There is no tool in the box because none is needed.
