1 bike, up to 44 lbs (20 kg). The bike and the carrier also count toward the roof load: always stay under the lowest of your crossbars (165 lb while driving on Skybar and Falcon, 220 lb on Wizard, AeroGlide and Strong), your roof rails if fitted, and your vehicle's roof load limit.
With a bike on the roof, watch garages, parking decks, drive-throughs and low branches.
Shake the bike and the carrier before every drive. Any movement means stop, re-tighten and test again. Re-check the straps after the first few miles.
1 bike carrier (wheel tray with frame holder), mounting hardware for both bar types (T-bolts for T-track bars, U-clamps for square bars), wheel straps, a locking knob and 2 keys.
The install in 5 steps (tap to open)+
1. Check your crossbars. Every Erkul crossbar has a T-track channel on top: use the T-bolts. Square bars without a channel: use the U-clamps.
2. Set the wheel tray across both crossbars, parallel to the car, and fix it at each bar: T-bolts slid into the channel, or U-clamps hooked under the square bar. Tighten until the tray cannot move.
3. Fit the frame holder to the tray as shown in the drawings in the box (LEFT or RIGHT version, to match the side of the roof the carrier is on).
4. Lift the bike onto the tray with both wheels in the wheel channel. Close the frame holder around the frame tube that runs down from the handlebars to the pedals, tighten the knob until the bike is held firmly, then lock it with the key.
5. Strap both wheels to the tray with the wheel straps. Shake the bike and the carrier: nothing may move.

FAQ
Will it fit my crossbars?+
Yes on every Erkul crossbar: they all have a T-track channel on top, and the T-bolts slide into it. Square bars without a channel take the included U-clamps. Not sure about your bars? Text us a photo before you install.
How heavy a bike can it carry?+
One bike, up to 44 lbs (20 kg). Check your bike first: many e-bikes weigh more than 44 lbs.
Do I need to take a wheel off?+
No. The bike rides upright with both wheels in the tray, held by the frame holder and the wheel straps.
Can I go through an automatic car wash?+
No. Take the bike and the carrier off first.
