220 lbs (100 kg) dynamic load. Your roof rails and your vehicle's roof have their own rated limits (see your owner's manual): always stay under the lowest of these ratings.
Shake every bar before each drive. Any movement means stop, re-seat, and re-tighten.
Bow & stern tie-downs to the vehicle frame are required. Straps to the crossbars alone aren't enough.

Will Strong V2 fit my vehicle?+
Strong V2 is designed for factory FLUSH roof rails: rails that sit tight against the roof with no gap underneath. It's a vehicle-specific perfect fit, so check the compatibility chart on erkulautousa.com.
Why are the lock covers pre-installed?+
They ship pre-installed for shipping protection. Unlock and remove them at the start, then reinstall at the end.
What's the maximum weight capacity?+
Up to 220 lbs (100 kg) evenly distributed. Your roof rails and your vehicle's roof have their own rated limits (see your owner's manual): never exceed the lowest of these ratings.
Can I install Strong V2 by myself?+
Yes, most users can install with the included Allen key. We recommend reading the manual first and having a second person assist with alignment.
Are the crossbars lockable?+
Yes. Each mount has a lock cover with a metal key. Always lock after installation for theft deterrence.
Can I use the crossbars with a sunroof?+
Yes. The crossbars are compatible with sunroofs and moonroofs, but do not open your sunroof while the crossbars are loaded.
