FAQ
Why do I need to cut the bottom rubber strips?+
Wizard is designed for vehicles with variable bar spacing. The bottom long rubber strips (H) protect the bar's bottom groove — the track the mount claws grip — and must be cut to match your specific bar length between mounts. The top strip (E) needs no cutting.
What if I cut the rubber too short?+
Contact support@erkulautousa.com immediately. Replacement strips are available — keep the offcut to verify the correct length needed.
Can I attach accessories to the bars?+
Yes — the bar's T-slot track accepts standard T-bolt accessories (cargo boxes, kayak racks, bike mounts). The T-bolts come with those accessories; they are not included with the crossbars.
Can I install Wizard by myself?+
Yes — most users can install with the included Allen key. We recommend reading the manual first and having a second person assist with alignment.
Are the lock covers lockable?+
Yes. Each mount has a lock cover (J) locked with a metal key (K). Lock after installation for theft deterrence. The plastic keys (L) are separate — they open the profile end caps on the bar tips.
