Solid Crossbar

Very sturdy and well made. Shipped well protected. It was a little weird that the rubber strip for the T-track came in two pieces and had to be cut to size. Instructions could have been a little more clear. It talked about the one adjusting **** for clamping the rails to the vehicle but did not mention the small **** for holding the center bar together. Would be nice if the rubber clamp pieces came in black as well. Over all though very high quality and very secure.

Roof rack for skis and cargo.

The product fits perfectly, and seems to be sturdy. I haven’t put any carrier or weight on them at this time, but I’m not worried about them failing.

They worked great

Bought these for my 2012 mini cooper countryman to lug a recumbent bike and some suitcases across the country. My brother, who is not the handiest person on the planet, very average in that department, installed them with no trouble, though we had to dig up a video to work out the locking stuff. When we arrived in Austin, from Santa Barbara, it seemed the racks had loosened slightly so checking them every few thousand miles might be a good idea, but they worked just great for us. And my Countryman looks cooler with them on, in my opinion. A nice looking accessory as well as being functional.

A very sturdy and well made set.

The mounts and bars are much larger than anticipated and rival OEM bars on a couple of SUVs I've owned. I don't know how they compare to OEM Mini's, but that's the fitting I ordered. The installation instructions are very good, clear, and consise. The mounts are molded with L and R on the underside, and the instructions point out that if the bars are different length, the longer one is mounted to the front of the vehicle. Very nice!
